Questions lingering after Gatlinburg spill
Officials have still released little information concerning to the April 5 catastrophe that lead to the death of two Veolia Water employees. Reconstruction is under way at the Banner Road Facility however no cause has yet to be determined. Reports have been filled regarding the cleanup efforts at the plant. Among the reports, workers have tested the water quality at the plant for pH and E. coli levels.
Why is this investigation taking so long? Apparently an independent firm hired by the city is in charge of the investigation. Hopefully, a cause can be found so that if indeed there was any faults to the facility's operation, someone can be held accountable.
