Wastewater treatment technology being tested for nuclear facility cleanup
AbTech, a company out of Scottsdale, Arizona, is expanding their testing of its Smart Sponge wastewater treatment technology to help in the wastewater clean-up at the nuclear facility in Japan. In lab tests, the product has been successful in the removal of radioactive compounds in contaminated water released from the facility.
