With China becoming the worlds largerst manufacturer of goods and also having the largest population in the world, is China keeping up with its ability to handle the waste water. In the last five years China has increased its capabilites of treating waste water by 24%. The country currently has 200 water treatment facility plants and garbage services. These companies average revunues of 152 million US dollars. The possibilties are there and in the future China could end up being a success story of how to handle large growth and the ability to substain the growth without ruining the local environment. China has come along way but still has a long way to go to be considered the number one manufacturing company and enviromentally friendly nation.
