Vitrified Clay Pipe - how its made, why use it?

This brochure caught my attention for a few reasons. First of all it claims that VCP will last up to 150 years and therefore is even more durable that ductile iron. Second, it is written by a European company. They say things in this brochure that are blunt, but at the same time is said with a little more eloquence than we would say in America. For example one quote I liked was, "Only VCP has all the qualities of VCP. (OK...) The one who proposes an alternative, proposes by definition a lesser solution." I found that somewhat amusing. Straight foward and right to the point...I like it.
