Water and Liquid Waste Treatment Plant and System Operators

Looking for a job when you complete program.  Ever consider being a water or waste water plant operator.  Accoridng to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the job outlook is good for this type of workaccoding to their website  "Job prospects. Job opportunities should be excellent, both because of the expected much faster than average employment growth and because the retirement of the baby-boomer generation will require that many operators be replaced. Further, the number of applicants for these jobs is normally low, primarily because of the physically demanding and unappealing nature of some of the work. Opportunities should be best for people with mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills."

This web page also details the required qualifications and earnings potential for the job.  I'd have to say that it is not only waste that stinks, the pay is kind of stinky too!
