Student Association President Christopher Landy welcomed a capacity crowd in the Student Center multipurpose room at the start of the September 8 convocation program. SUNYIT's new provost, William W. Durgin, also addressed the gathering.

Panelists discussing "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" (l. to r.) were: S. Nasir Ali, co-founder and CEO of Upstate Venture Connect; Michael Evke, president and CEO of Eversan, Inc.; Robert Hobaica, president and CEO of RJH Group, Inc.; Charles Green, president and CEO of Assured Information Security, Inc.; and Jo Anne Gagliano, president of edr Companies.  Evke, Green and Hobaica are SUNYIT alumni.
