Attempting To Prod Law into Catching Up To Technology
I would agree with a law that requires a warrant before the police could access emails and other types of electronic communications. I feel that in the recent years, privacy has been lacking thanks to social networking sites. For the police to not require warrants to search through emails and other online information would be ridiculous. It would be as unethical as going through somebody’s mailbox or personal files. In the future, I hope that laws about privacy in advancing technology will be fair and respectful to the public.
