Tech-Ethics Stories Featured in Global Press
This article is mildly disturbing to me. There now exists the technology to search individual’s smart phones. The technology is supposedly to help search engines produce custom tailored search results; however this is not always the case. Private people are using it to hack peoples phones to steel as much personal data as possible, such as texts calls or any data someone might have stored on their phone. Michigan police have this technology for checking peoples phone activity while driving.
This is wrong on so many levels I think this is invasion of privacy plain and simple. It should just be illegal no matter what the reason for it is.
