NYC photographer defends himself

The New York Post recently published a shocking photograph of man about to die on the subway tracks and put it on the front page. Controversy has been stirred up over matter. Many have blamed the cameraman for taking pictures and not helping him out. R. Umar Abbasi was the photographer on the scene who took the shocking pictures. In his own defense he has come out to say that the man was too far away for him to do anything. He states that he wasn't just taking pictures to make a story. Instead he was flashing his camera at the driver of the train to try and alert them. He says that his raw pictures all turned out very dark as he was not concentrating on taking good photographs. Some of his photographs show people that were very close to the man about to die and they did nothing. All together it is a tragic event that makes everyone question their own ethical decisions.
