BP to pay largest criminal fine in U.S. history

BP is to pay approximately 4 billion dollars in fines for the oil spill in 2010. Additionally, two supervisors for BP will face manslaughter charges for the death of 11 employees. This article capitalizes the importance of safety rather than profit. BP took an unethical approach and the outcome was the loss of eleven lives, massive pollution, and major fines for the company.
