At a Goodwill store in Texas, a pair of shoes was donated that had $3,300 cash inside of one of the shoes. Goodwill protected this money and waited for the owner to return for the money. A woman returned to the store and received her money; the husband's shoes were donated without knowing the wife was storing her life's savings in one of the shoes!

The honesty of the employees saved this woman’s money, and more importantly broadcasts the standard of morality that was upheld.
