I'm 71 and I Want a Heart Transplant

This article gets into the ethical issue with the former Vice President, Dick Cheney receiving a heart transplant. Many people felt as if this wasn't right because many young people are still waiting on the list for transplants while some aging people receive them before they do. I think this is an issue that should be brought up and I feel that young people should have priority. This can turn into a big debate because elderly people want to stay alive just as much as young people. So the real question is how ethical is the process for transplant selection? Who gets first priority, a 81 year old grandmother or a 16 year old who needs a new heart?
