I Want My Money Back
Discover, a well known credit card company will refund 2-3 million dollars back to their customers they scammed into purchasing "unneeded and expensive credit card products". The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurace Corp. "issued a joint enforcment action" against Discover for their wrong doings and they were fined $14 million. Deceiving customers is a big ethical isssue because customers are who really makes up the company. Discover makes money from their customers who are in debt to them and scamming them to get more money is wrong. I am glad something was done about this because I plan on getting a credit card in the near future and i wouldn't want a company to decieve me out of my hard earned money. It is also important to read all terms and conditions before agreeing to anything.
