The right to kill
I do not think it is very hard to decipher whether or not it is right or wrong to take someone else’s life. However, when you are part of an army, it seems as if it is no problem to do so. This is due to the many lives, innocently or not, that are taken by US troops and it is not widely heard over the news.
On the other hand, when ONE US troop is killed, it is immediately broadcast worldwide. Strangely, the opponents are seen as such horrible people_ how can they do such a thing? However this question is never posed towards US or British troops.
Apparently, some lives are more valuable than others. So it leaves you to wonder if it is ok to take a life once you are on the right side of the war?
