Global Corruption Study

According to an Ethics Newsline article titled, "Northern European Nations Show Best Results In Study Of Global Corruption", a new report called the World Justice Project ranks countries in terms of their adherence to the law. The study involved interviewing 97,000 members of the general public and 2,500 experts. Northern European countries scored the highest in most categories. The top four ranked countries are Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, first to fourth resplectively. The United States finished 18th in the "corruption" category with a total of 97 ranked countries worldwide. Some of the ranking categories include corruption, order, security, transparency of government, government accountability, and access to critical and civil justice.
