2013 Health Insurance Choices
"Health Insurance Choices for 2013" will soon be available in the Human Resources Office. It explains the Health Insurance Option Transfer Period and the benefit plans available in 2013.
As soon as the health insurance rates are set for 2013 by the Department of Civil Service, employees will receive the new rate sheet at home. This brochure will outline the rates as well as the option change period.

Friday after Thanksgiving
Most buildings will be closed on the Friday, November 23, the day after Thanksgiving. It is anticipated that most employees, both classified and M/C, will elect to take this day as a day of vacation or personal leave. Professionals represented by UUP will use this day as the designated floating holiday for Election Day. Only a University Police force will be required to report to work on this day. If you intend to work on the Friday, November 23, notify your supervisor no later than Friday, November 16.
SUNYIT will curtail operations and services for winter break from close of business on Friday, December 21, through Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
Additional information will follow as we approach the winter break. Alternative work sites will be provided for those employees who need to work if it would cause them an undue hardship to take time off.
