Sewage Water getting released into river

Thats always something you love hearing, sewage water being released into a river. People of saginaw have seen inches of rain creating rainwater and sewage water being partially treated and released from the facility. The wastewater treatment plants superintendent has said however that "its pretty clean water" and it is treated to some degree. The river during all this rain has risen to 15 feet, up from its average of 12.5 feet.

I think these instances remind us that capacity for these facilities needs to be improved to be able to handle periods of high rainfall. Although its said that the water is still "pretty" clean, contaminants are still released.
