Chinese Educational System Engulfed In Corruption: NY Times
A November 26, 2012 article discusses Chinas education system. It discusses the manner in which students are able to get ahead in the school system, and how money is becoming a controlling factor in student’s education. Currently in china the wealthy citizens not only can buy their child’s way into expensive schools, but they can buy their child’s front row seat in a classroom. The question is, is this morally correct to treat the school system as a business where the wealthy can rise above the rest? Does this neglect the less wealthy individuals who may have a better ability to succeed?
