NASA did studies into the allegations against Toyota and had come to the conclusion that the recent accidents were caused more by driver error then by Toyota's product having issues. The study showed that the driver errors that had caused these crashes had lead to some not so ethhical allegations smudging the name of the company and its reputation as far as quality of it's product. Many are saying that the NASA testing wasn't in depth enough only being run on 9 cars however.
