CTC 301 Blog - More Companies Are Penalizing Workers Who Are Overweight or Have Hypertension

This article really surprised me quite a bit after I had read it.  I cannot believe that some companies, such as Michelin North America, are actually planning on penalizing workers for having things such as high blood pressure or being over weight.  This is deffinately not ethical and should not be allowed as something that may hinder someones chances of being hired, promoted or charged the same as another employee that may not be as over weight as them.  I do not think it should be allowed by companies to do this practice.  For some people it may not even be by choice that they are over weight or have high blood pressure either. For example if someone has a chronic condition of high blood pressure.
