Galleon insider-trading trial wraps up first week
Deliberations ended last Friday against Raj Rajaratnam. Rajaratnam, a billionair hedge-fund mogul, has been accused of insider trading. This is just one of many trials happening against inside traders. They claim he exploited insider information to avoid $63 million in losses. Rajaratnam claims his innocence, saying he relied on honest market research.
