Women's Bowling Finishes Fourth at Big Red Invitational
CORTLAND, NY – The SUNYIT women’s bowling team continued its strong play this season with a fourth place finish at the Big Red Invitational, which was held at Cortland Lanes in Cortland, NY this past Saturday.
Senior Meaghan McGurn (Slingerlands, NY/Bethlehem) finished with a six-game total of 1,098 and junior Amanda Pratt (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) had a six-game total of 1,084 for the Lady Wildcats, with both earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Junior Katie Freisatz (Schnectady, NY/Mohonasen) and junior Tabatha Williams (Endwell, NY/Herkimer County CC) each finished with a score of 981 through six games.
The Wildcats will be back in action this weekend when they travel to participate in the Penn State Classic, which will be held at Bellefonte Lanes in Bellefonte, PA.
