“Growing Support For Gay Marriage: Changed Minds & Changing Demographics”

This article is stating that as time has gone on, the acceptance of same sex marriage has increased.  A specific survey conducted in 2003 showed that 28% more of Americans opposed this action than supported it.  Recently however, it is shown that the roles have been reversed.  The new outcome of views on this topic is that the accepting Americans outway the unaccepting.

An interesting finding has shown that all current supporters of same sex marriage have not always been this way.  In fact 28% of Americans say their opinions have veered from unaccepting, to supporting this matter.  While there are many reasons for this mind change, the most common was that hey know someone.

I myself am a supporter of same sex marriage and think that everyone has the right to be with who they want.  I think that they should have the same rights as heterosexual marriages, and this can not happen soon enough.

Unitl next time...Nicole
