Penn State Perjury
Ethical issues from the child abuse scandal at Penn State continued to snow ball last week. Former president of the university was charged with conspiring to cover up the crimes of former football assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. Graham Spanier, former university president, was conducting a "conspiracy of silence", according to Pennsylvania's Attorney General. In addition to the charges on Spanier, the former athletic director Tim Curley and ex-vice president Gary Schultz are facing charges related to conspiracy as well as perjury. According to NBC News, "This case is about three powerful and influential men who held positions at the very top of one of the most prestigious institutions in the nation".
