Picture of Gene Yelle

Gene has been with SUNYIT since 1987 and in addition to being a Business Advisor with the SBDC he is an Associate Professor in the School of Business teaching courses in Entrepreneurship and E-Commerce. Gene holds a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Business from the State University of New York. His research focus and specialization are in the areas of Electronic Commerce, Small Business Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Gene's professional experience includes 19 years in Marketing Communications with Mohawk Data Sciences Corp., (MDS), where he was Director of MDS's Marketing Communication Services Division. He also has over 18 years experience as an independent consultant.
