    February 24, 2011 \"Road to \'Glory\':  Negro Soldiers in the American Civil War\" keynote speaker for a Black History Month event held at Defense Finance Accounting Services (DFAS) Griffiss Park in Rome, NY.

    August 16, 2010 \"Senior Seminar Pilot\" a virtual presentation In collaboration with Dr. Joanne Joseph for a conference held at SUNY Fredonia addressing a study we conducted of student outcomes from three types of classes:  a traditional class, a service-based learning class, and a service-based learning class with oral and written communication tutorial support.
