SUNYIT Resources
An active SITNet ID is used to login on many college resources.
Most of those resources are supported by the Information Technology Services department and are
described briefly below.
| Banner | Registration system, and is also called the Banner Web and Campus Intranet |
| Blogs.sunyit.edu | Personal blogs |
| Citrix servers | Access to lab applications over the Internet |
| Classes.sunyit | Registered students access files in their class web directories |
| Computer Lab Logon | ITS supported Windows labs |
| Interlibrary Loan | Also known as ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan Internet Accessible Database), is an electronic system used to
process interlibrary loan requests |
| Library Databases | Electronic indexing tools which allow you to search documents such as magazines, journals, newspapers, etc. |
| Network Printers | Access to departmental network printers |
| Request Tracker | ITS Services ticket system (also called RT) |
| SLN ANGEL | SLN's new learning management system for online and hybrid courses |
| SUNYIT File System | User's personal file storage space on the college file server |
| Sympa Listserv | Email list manager |
| Unix Systems | System for programming language compilers and
instructional use of Oracle database. Host names are: shell.sunyit.edu, oracle.sunyit.edu, ampere.sunyit.edu |
| Webmail | SUNYIT email -- used for official notifications |
The Computer Science department used the SITNet ID to obtain a Computer Science department account.
