Volunteering
Alumni volunteers may work closely with the Alumni Office / Alumni Association or directly support and work with other SUNYIT offices and departments to foster relationships or support programs, events, and activities that contribute directly to the continuing strength and excellence of SUNY Institute of Technology.
Alumni volunteer opportunities are currently available in the following areas:
Alumni Admissions Volunteer Program
Alumni may undergo training by the Admissions Office to work on behalf of the Admissions Office to represent SUNYIT at college nights, college fairs, or transfer days in the cities/counties where they live or work. The Admissions Office receives and processes all inquiries regarding this potential volunteer opportunity, manages the program, selects and supervises the volunteers, and provides volunteers with support and training in executing these duties. Alumni interested in this program or who wish to receive additional details are asked to direct questions to the program coordinator who is Bill Zeiter '07 in the Admissions Office.
