The 2nd "70-80s and Mills Era Reunion" activites included personalized bus tours past old-campus buildings, brewery tours, and an Evening Mixer at SUNYIT on April 16, 2011. Reminiscing about old times were 58 attendees, who were supported by 7 current staff members (SUNYIT employees and student assistants) who were on hand to welcome attendees and provide information and updates about SUNYIT's current campus. The old-campus bus tours traveled past the former academic buildings known as the Globe Mill Factory at 811 Court Street, Mill Square at Court & State Streets, and Potter Center at Potter & Whitesboro Streets (see photos below). And as requested by attendees, the various bus tours also passed area hangouts such as the Pub, Brewery, Kozar’s, Spilka’s, 11th Ward, Gladstone’s, Lily Langtry’s, Sunset, Bearded Dolphin and Shakers, as well as some of the apartments where alumni lived during their SUNYIT student years.
