The Alumni Association Advisory Board made history on October 5, 2009, when it unanimously endorsed a plan to match $1 for $1 various donations made by alumni who earned a SUNYIT bachelor's degree in 2005, 2006, 2007, or 2008. Specifically, for this Alumni Challenge, donations to the SUNYIT Foundation made between July 1, 2009, and May 21, 2010, by these recent alumni for FY2010 were matched by Alumni Association funds $1 for every $1.
