A campus visit provides you with the opportunity to learn more about our academic programs, campus environment and student services including residential life, financial aid, career services and academic support services.

An individual interview with an Admissions Counselor can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early evening appointments may be available upon request. Students are encouraged to bring college transcripts for evaluation.

SUNYIT is one of four specialized colleges in the 64-campus system of the State University of New York. It has grown rapidly since its first class of 58 students arrived in the fall of 1973. The college now enrolls approximately 1,250 full-time and 1,000 part-time students. SUNYIT welcomed its first freshman class in fall 2003.

The campus itself offers an uncommon blend of natural beauty and modern architecture with thousands of acres of unspoiled land surrounding the facilities that became home to SUNYIT in 1988. We encourage everyone to share in the beauty of our campus by taking a quick tour through our archives of photographs with a description of our rich history.

General campus tours (including residence halls) and technical tours are available upon request. We encourage you to come and view our scenic 800 acre campus.
