What are the current expenses for tuition and fees at SUNYIT?

Are jobs available on campus?

Work-study jobs are available on campus at a pay rate of the established minimum wage. Students should check with the financial aid office regarding their eligibility for college work-study funds. The Financial Aid Office web page also provides descriptions of work-study positions by campus office.

Non-work study jobs are also available through temporary service funding. Students should check with Human Resources regarding these positions.

How much do books generally cost per semester?

Students should estimate approximately $800 per year for books and supplies.

How so I apply for financial aid?

To apply for financial aid, students must complete: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the SUNYIT application for Financial Aid. The financial aid process begins after January 1 the year you are entering SUNYIT. To access these forms online, please visit the Financial Aid Office web page.

How do I add SUNYIT to my FAFSA after I have already submitted it?

To add SUNYIT, call the processing center at 1-800-433-3243 and give them our school code (011678). You will need to provide your social security number and the 4-digit DRN number from your Student Aid Report.

Will SUNYIT bill me for tuition and fees? When is the bill due?

You will be mailed a bill for tuition and fees. The bill for the fall semester is typically due in mid-August. The bill for spring semester is due in early January.

Will SUNYIT accept a credit card for payment?

Payment can be made with a credit card or a personal check payable to SUNYIT.
